1. Role of Water Taxi Boat

Water Taxi Boat acts exclusively as a business introducer and commercial intermediary. Its role is to connect clients seeking maritime transport services with independent, licensed and insured boat operators.

Water Taxi Boat is not a maritime carrier, travel agent, or maritime broker. It does not provide transport services and is not a party to the contract concluded between the client and the operator.

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the referral service offered via water-taxi-boat.com and associated channels (WhatsApp, email, phone).

2. How the service works

Water Taxi Boat operates as follows:

• The client describes their needs (route, date, passengers, budget)
• Water Taxi Boat identifies and recommends the most suitable operator
• Water Taxi Boat facilitates the introduction between client and operator
• The operator confirms the service, sets the terms, and collects payment directly

The maritime transport contract is concluded directly between the client and the partner operator.Water Taxi Boat is not a party to this contract.

3. Indicative pricing

Prices displayed on the website are provided for guidance only to help clients estimate the cost of a crossing. They may vary depending on distance, boat type, number of passengers, and season.

The final price is communicated and confirmed by the partner operator directly to the client.Water Taxi Boat does not set transport service prices.

4. Payment

Payment for the transport service is made directly by the client to the partner operator. Water Taxi Boat does not collect any payment for transport services.

Payment terms (accepted methods, deposit, balance) are set by the operator and communicated to the client upon service confirmation.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund conditions are set by the partner operator in their own terms of sale.Water Taxi Boat is not responsible for cancellation policies applied by operators.

In adverse weather conditions preventing navigation, the operator is required to offer a reschedule or refund in accordance with their own terms.

6. Passenger obligations

The passenger agrees to:

• Arrive on time at the boarding point agreed with the operator
• Follow all safety instructions given by the captain
• Wear a life jacket when requested by the crew
• Disclose any medical condition that may affect the crossing
• Not bring dangerous or illegal goods on board

7. Safety and weather

Passenger safety is the absolute priority. The partner operator's captain is the sole judge of whether it is safe to sail. In adverse weather conditions (strong winds, rough seas, reduced visibility), the operator may cancel or reschedule the crossing.

8. Liability and limitation

As a business introducer, Water Taxi Boat assumes no liability for:

• The quality, safety, or compliance of the transport service
• Delays, cancellations, or changes to crossings
• Bodily injury, property damage, or consequential loss during the service
• The conduct of the operator, their employees, or crew
• Non-payment or solvency of the client

Each partner operator holds their own professional liability insurance covering passenger transport. Clients are invited to verify insurance conditions directly with the operator.

In any event, Water Taxi Boat's liability is limited to the referral commission received for the introduction in question.

9. Operator verification

Water Taxi Boat carefully selects its partner operators and verifies the validity of their operating licences, insurance, and captain certifications before starting the partnership. However, Water Taxi Boat does not guarantee ongoing operator compliance and does not substitute for maritime regulatory authorities.

10. Luggage and personal belongings

Each passenger may bring one reasonable piece of luggage (carry-on suitcase + bag). Oversized luggage must be reported to the operator.Water Taxi Boat cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal belongings.

11. Intellectual property

The Water Taxi Boat brand, the water-taxi-boat.com website, and all associated content are the exclusive property of Water Taxi Boat. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts.
