Dubai Marina is the primary departure hub — 101 towers, 3 km of waterway, direct metro access (DMCC station). JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence) beach is an alternate beach pickup point. Palm Jumeirah: the Atlantis South Jetty is the main tender point; the Palm Monorail serves the Gateway Hotel side. Dubai Creek (Khor Dubai): historic waterway separating Deira and Bur Dubai, Al Seef is the renovated promenade. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary at the Creek mouth. For Abu Dhabi: Yas Marina Circuit marina is the cleanest arrival (walk to Yas Mall, Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld); Louvre Abu Dhabi has its own jetty.
The Palm from the inside
Every Dubai visitor sees the Palm from the Monorail or a drone shot. Approaching the Atlantis by private tender from the Marina side, passing through the crescent with open water on both sides, is a completely different object. 15 minutes from Dubai Marina, no taxi queue, no Monorail crowds.
Skyline at golden hour
The JBR-to-Creek run at sunset catches the entire downtown skyline — Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future, the Sheikh Zayed Road towers — lit orange over flat water with no wake from passing traffic. This is the route Dubai social media is made of, without a drone.
Abu Dhabi in a day
The Abu Dhabi crossing by sea (90 min) gives you Yas Marina arrival instead of a highway drop-off — direct to the Grand Prix circuit marina, Ferrari World jetty, or the Louvre Abu Dhabi waterfront. No Sheikh Zayed Road traffic, no airport-style road transfers.
