    Why here

Private water taxi transfers to and from Procida, the pastel-coloured island of the Bay of Naples.

    01

    Skip the Marina Grande crowd

In summer the public quay at Marina Grande fills with ferry and hydrofoil passengers from Naples, Pozzuoli and Ischia. A private transfer lands you alongside on your own schedule, luggage handled, straight into the pastel village of Sent'Cò rather than a boarding queue.

    02

    Reach corners the ferry ignores

The Corricella fishing harbour and the Chiaiolella marina in the south are the loveliest ways to arrive, yet no scheduled line drops you there. A small closed-cabin boat can bring you to the Chiaiolella quay or anchor off the Chiaia roadstead below Corricella, a short tender from your table.

    03

    One seamless island-hop

Procida sits in the channel between the mainland and Ischia, minutes from Pozzuoli and Ischia and within a comfortable run of Capri and Sorrento. A private boat turns a chain of ferry changes into a single door-to-door leg, the crew waiting while you visit Vivara or lunch on the water.

    FAQ

    Useful to know.

The usual landing is Marina Grande (Sent'Cò), the main harbour facing Palazzo Montefusco where taxis and micro-taxis wait. Depending on sea state and your boat, arrival at the Chiaiolella marina in the south, or a tender ashore near Corricella, can also be arranged.

The saving is less about raw speed than about waiting: scheduled hydrofoils from Naples take around forty minutes but run to fixed timetables and fill up in summer. A private transfer leaves when you do, direct, with no queue at Molo Beverello or Marina Grande.

Prices are indicative and quoted from a starting fare per boat, not per person, for a small private group. A short crossing from Ischia or Pozzuoli starts well below a run from Naples, Capri or Sorrento, which cover more open water.

Late June to early September is the peak, with warm, settled seas; spring and early autumn are quieter and often ideal. A strong scirocco from the southeast can make the Chiaiolella entrance awkward, so in rough conditions the crew may reroute to the more sheltered Marina Grande or adjust timing for safety.

Yes. Procida's position in the channel makes it a natural pairing with Ischia, minutes away, and a private boat can hold while you explore, then continue to Capri or Sorrento, turning several ferry legs into one door-to-door itinerary.
