Le Negresco's pink dome faces the Promenade des Anglais directly — we bring you into Nice's own port, a short ride along the bay from the hotel.
Le Negresco faces the sea directly across the Promenade des Anglais, and runs its own beach club on the public shingle beach opposite — but that beach isn't a private, boat-accessible cove; it's the open public bay, and landing a water taxi there isn't something we do.
What works well is bringing you into Port Lympia, Nice's own harbour on the far side of the bay, followed by a short taxi or walk along the Promenade to the hotel's pink dome.
From Monaco or Cannes, Port Lympia is a straightforward, well-served arrival point — a scenic way into Nice regardless of which hotel you're staying at.
Le Negresco's Belle Époque dome is one of the most recognisable buildings on the whole Riviera coastline, best appreciated from the water on the approach into Nice — even if the final steps to the door are on land.
Approaching Nice along the Baie des Anges by boat gives you the same view the Negresco has made famous — the pink dome against the curve of the Promenade — before you've even landed.
The hotel's beach is public shingle, not a private cove, so we don't attempt a direct beach landing here. Port Lympia to the hotel is a comfortable walk or short taxi.
