From the foot of the dune to the Bélisaire pier in 10 minutes — the only direct way across the basin's entrance.
By road you leave the dune's car park, cross Pyla and La Teste, loop the basin via Biganos and drive down the whole peninsula — 80+ km for a crossing you can see from the sand.
Walk down to the beach, board, and step off at the Bélisaire pier 10 minutes later — lighthouse, oyster villages and the Cap's beaches at your feet.
