Fréjus was Forum Julii under the Romans — one of the most important naval bases in the western Mediterranean, home to the galleys that fought at Actium. Port-Fréjus, the modern marina, was built in the 1980s on the silted-up Roman harbour. It has 760 berths, direct A8 motorway access, and is 5 minutes by boat from Saint-Raphaël's Port Santa Lucia.

Port-Fréjus has 760 berths, covered parking, a supermarket on the quay, and restaurants within 50 metres of the pontoons. It's the most practical departure point between Saint-Tropez and Cannes.
Saint-Raphaël in 5 minutes.
Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël share a bay but not a port. The Boulevard de la Libération between the two takes 15 minutes by car on a summer afternoon. By boat: 5 minutes, every time.
